Whether you are in the big mainlands or on any of the Pacific Islands, the airports are relatively busy and operating continuously as much as possible.
Perhaps there would be interruptions but this will be for a short period only because airports need to keep up with flight schedules to transport passengers and goods.
However, the coronavirus pandemic has caused major and minor airports to shutdown as minimal people traveled when governments declared a nationwide lockdown to control the spread of the virus.
Also, in cooperation with respective governments in their effort to suppress the spread of COVID-19, airline companies have significantly reduced their trips.
